It’s cool. All EUCs are sensor-responsive. Imagine the feeling of someone silently gliding past you at speed. No doubt about it, when you’re riding an EUC, heads will turn. It’s a guaranteed 100% attention grabber.
-
Range. In the $1300 to $2000 price range, most EUCs can deliver 60 to 80 miles of range. That’s more than enough for your weekend fun, daily work commute, or getting to class.
-
Speed. Thanks to advancements in brushless motors and high-voltage battery systems, modern EUCs can deliver torque comparable to a 125cc motorcycle, with top speeds reaching up to 80 mph. Even if you don’t plan on riding that fast, it’s good to have that power when you want it. Think about those sudden rushes of adrenaline.
-
Safety. It’s true that from 2012 to 2018, EUCs had issues due to poor manufacturing standards and immature tech. Battery and motherboard disconnections sometimes caused accidents. But today’s EUCs have completely eliminated those risks. Many models even support no-hall modes. So you really don’t need to worry about that kind of failure anymore.

What should you prepare before entering the EUC community
First, give both yourself and your EUC some time. Your body needs to get used to it. Think back to when you first learned how to ride a bike — wasn’t smooth, right? The learning curve for EUC is similar. A few hours of practice and you’ll feel comfortable
Second, choose a manufacturer with a solid reputation preferably one that deals directly with customers so you get better support
Third, helmet helmet always wear your helmet -
The future. EUCs are quickly becoming one of the most extreme sports in the world. They may well become the coolest way to get around in the future.
